Jurassic Rock's line-up just keeps on growing!!! Including Kylesa (USA), Scar Symmetry (SWE), Disco Ensemble, Sonata Arcitca, PMMP and lots of other great bands!

In Visulahti, Mikkeli 13.8 - 14.8.2010 held, the fourth annual Jurassic Rock's line-up keeps on growing. The new attachments seen in Jurassic Rock's stages are KYLESA (USA), an american psychedelic metal/rockband who were seen in Tavastia, Helsinki in April, SCAR SYMMETRY (SWE) - a deathmetal from Sweden, the finnish power-metal pioneer Sonata Arctica. Other attachments are DISCO ENSEMBLE with their new upcoming release in June "The Island of Disco Ensemble" , one of the most popular bands in Finland - PMMP, and for the first time to ever climb to Jurassic Rocks stages: KLAMYDIA,  with their new upcoming album in may "Ykstoistykstoist", the finnish groovy line-up JÄTKÄJÄTKÄT, with two of his previous albums selling gold, and all the club gigs in Mikkeli sold out in 2009, CHEEK with a live band, the powerpop / rock band MY FIRST BAND and the winner of the "Alkupiste" -bandcontest winner in Seinäjoki PERILLISET. We haven't forgotten our own neither, Mikkeli's thrashy future, BLOODRED HOURGLASS will be throwing a gig in Jurassic Rock. And like every year, there will be always be something different on the stages - when RUDIROK's Beatbox / Stand-up -show kicks of at saturday!

At the festival-area, you can experience again the Rhytmbooth's DJ's, the mudpits and outside the festival-area the librarybus, where you can read the days newspapers, hear fairytaler and get rid of your stress by ripping apart the removal books! Our organisators have also got a few nice upgrades, that you will be informed about during the summer in the Jurassic Rock's website.

Like last year, during june there will be Jurassic Rock TV playing on our website, including programs of the festival gettin' closer, band interviews and we roll with the working group from here to there.


The tickets to the festival are for sale as we speak. The two-day tickets go out for 55,- euros and you can get them from http://www.tiketti.fi. The one day ticket-sales and local sales start some time soon and we'll inform about it later on.

There's one thing that we can't figure out; Who are the parents of the Jurassic Rock Babies in Facebook? Jurassic Baby A, Jurassic baby B and Jurassic Baby C long for their parents! The best way to get in  touch with these cuddly things are to find them in facebook with their own names, or in IRC-Galleria; JurassicbabyA, JurassicbabyB and JurassicbabyC.
