- If you need to pee or poo, go to a TOILET (found in the festival area), not into bushes.
- Glassbottles etc. are FORBIDDEN! Use plastic bottles and cans. If they're broken, throw them to a garbage can. Else give 'em to our bottle gatherers.
- Bonusround! When you bring your camp's trash to the main gates trashpoint on sunday, you'll get a free cold soda!
Dino-group thanks you!
BEER, ALCOHOL SERVING & MERCHANTS
The serving area is located in the heart of the festival area and you can see to the stages from there. We have beer, ciders, soda, cigarettes
and a few other products on our category. You should remember, that the fastest way to pay for anything on a festival is CASH, altough
you can use a bankcard. The age limit is 18 so you do want to bring some ID with you in order to get in. (A driver's licence, a passport)
In addition, there are also foodstands & other merchandise for sale. (If you want to bring your own merch, you can ask for a spot by e-mail
at esko.takamaki@provinssirock.fi ).
All of those who are underage, know that you can't drink alcohol on the festival. And grown-ups, you also know that providing
drinks for a minor is a CRIME! The festival organisation confiscates all alcohol-related products immediatly from the minors.
That includes the festival area, the camping area and the area around the festival! If you're so drunk you can't even stand,
or if you're just being a bully you will be removed from the festival. And in that case, age is just numbers so please,
let's all prepare for a nice peaceful festival-feeling even before the festival!
As we gather around to the beautiful Visulahti to enjoy our smooth festival, good music and the Dino's arranged agenda,
it's important for all of our guests and workers to take care of our beautiful environment in order to enjoy the festival!
Here are a few tips for the guests AND the workers:
1. Use public transportation / travel in groups!
Dino takes care of the nature, and you should too by using public transportation or riding in packs. From the central of Mikkeli,
there rides a FREE festival-bus that the Dino recommends you to use.
Parking in Visulahti is possible only if you're on the camping area, and the space is limited. By using the festival bus you can
for example enjoy some refreshments while riding to the festival area.
You can ask / offer a ride also on the internet, for example on our
FACEBOOK or
IRC-GALLERIA groups. Go, and join in!
In addition: trains and busses can get you easily to Mikkeli as well.
2. Cleanliness makes it fun!
During the weekend there are thousands of partying festival-dinos on the move, and if everyone of you throws even a one trash on the ground,
we'll be swimming in trash and shit before it's saturday evening and trust me, it ain't nearly as fun as the mud-pit!
So, this year the Dino challenges everyone to take care of their own trashes. When you're exchaning your ticket to the bracelet, you have the
opportunity to grab a trashbag and you can ask more of them from our cleaners. By returning the trashes to the main gate's trash-point, you
gain yourself a free soda!
There are also a lot of bottle gatherers around the festival area, so you can make their job easier by putting all your cans and bottles in to
the same spot. This way you can make more room to dance around all night!
Smokers: please, take an ashtray with you to the camping area. Besides that it's a lot nicer to walk around with-out your feet filled with ash,
it's also a safety question. This includes the festival area too, don't throw the cig-butts to the ground!!
Glass bottles are strictly forbidden! If you take something to drink with you, it needs to be in a can or a plastic bottle. We have different
kind of a trashcans for different trash. If you don't know how to recycle, you can ask our cleaners to help you out! There are also stickers
on the sides of the trashcans, so you can separate your trash easily.
3. Don't poop or pee into bushes!
There are a lot of toilets (bajamaja) around the festival area and you should use them to take care of your 'needs'. Don't do your things to the bushes!!
There are also a few water-using toilets around Visulahti.
4. Remember to eat and drink enough!
Dino wants to remind all of you pumpkins to drink water and eat food enough, so you won't get feeling dizzy and dehydrated! This way you can enjoy the
whole festival and dance around all the great bands for the whole weekend! REMEMBER: Alcohol beverages do NOT hydrate you!
...and because everything ends, the Jurassic Rock also does on sunday 15.8 and we'll be waiting for the new adventures next year! The Dino wants you to take
everything you brought back when you leave. Remember to throw your trashes to where they belong!
DINO LOVES THE NATURE, YOU SHOULD TOO!
During the whole festival there is a professional medic-group round the clock! There is also a first-aid point in the camping area.
Illegal filming of the shows is strictly forbidden. Professional videocameras, recorders and professional cameras are not allowed in the festival area.
Jurassic Rock's recommended agelimit is 14. If you're under 14, you can only get into the festival with a familymember that's over 22 years old. That also
means that the guardian is responsible of the minor and for his / her safety and doings. Minors under the age of 10 can only get in with their legal guardians
and on the camping area you need to be over 16 to stay. Prepare to prove your age at the gate!
The agelimits are for your own good and safety, and also to guide the parents of the minors. A Festival is a BIG crowded happening, where everyone should
be elligible to take care of theirselves and your friends!
Those of you who have bought a festival- and a camping ticket can stay at the Visulahti camping area. If you only have the ticket for saturday, you can buy a camping spot
for the saturday - sunday night for 15 euros. If you have a two day ticket, you can camp there between friday - sunday for 20 euros. You can exchange your ticket and the
pre-buyable and fillable camping form for the festival and the camping bracelets. Using the camping bracelet you can camp in the beautiful, natural, festival-feel filled
camping area in Visulahti. Camping spots between friday - saturday night are not for sale, because we can't monitor the movement in and out so closely. You can also buy
a camping spot when you arrive to Visulahti, but if you want to make sure to get it you can buy it pre-hand from
SELMU'S WEBSHOP. The camping area opens at friday
13.8 at 10:00 am and you need to leave before 14:00pm at sunday 15.8.
IF YOU BUY THE CAMPING SPOT BEFORE COMING TO VISULAHTI, PRINT, FILL AND TAKE WITH YOU THE ORDER CONFIRMATION AND THE CAMPING CARD. The form is personal. This way you'll
fasten up your camping and save yourself from filling te form at the gate. You can download the camping form

WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY FESTIVAL TICKET?
You can only get in to the festival area with the ticket. If you want to camp, you need to buy a camping ticket and if you need to park
your car, you need to buy a parking ticket (10e). Riding the festival bus is free.
What could be a better way to let out some steam, have some fun or just feel the music then a good moshpit? And moshpitting is nice, when
everyone is having fun and for that reason there is a ceparated area for moshpitting that can be found within ~5 meters away from the center
of the stage. (guide rules). Moshpits started anywhere else will be stopped immediatly. Using common sense is not illegal, so please use it.
Please also remember that if you see anyone falling, you help him / her! It's not nice to stomp anyone to the ground, and it's not nice to get stomped
so throw a helping hand as fast as possible! Moshpitting can get pretty harsh sometimes so it's not recommended for the minors in the family.
CROWD SURFING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!!!
Next to the entrance there is a supervised cloakroom, where you can leave your jackets, bags etc. for 2 euros. It opens on friday at 15:00
and on saturday at 12:00 and closes at both days at 03:00. If there are any left-over items on the cloakroom, they will be taken to the
lost&found next to the breathalyzer spot, on sunday 15.8 10:00 - 15:00. If the items have not been retrieved, they will be taken to the
police station in the central of Mikkeli on monday 16.8. You can contact the police station from the number: 071 87 55388
The festival area is located in Visulahti, about 5 km from the center of Mikkeli so there are no ATM's within a short walking distance.
The nearest ATM's are located at the Graani shopping center, about two kilometres to Lahti's directio (usable only when the market's open),
and in S-Market Peitsaris wall, about 2,5km towards the centre of Mikkeli. Bankcard is only usable in the alcohol serving area, and possibly
on the foodstands - so it's best to prepare for the festival with cash.
Did you party till 4 a.m. till there was no booze left, and you still feel a bit shaky? If you're not sure wether you can jump behind the wheel
or not, don't worry! You can take a breathalyzer test near the maingate for 2 euros, with an official police breathalyzer. If you're the designated
driver and you've been drinking on the festival, we recommend you to stop by the breathalyzer just to make sure you can drive!
The most important thing for the festival to succeed, is that everyone's feeling good and nobody gets hurt! So take care of yourself, AND YOUR FRIENDS!!
The festival ticket will be changed for a bracelet on the gate, and if you have the need to leave the festival area and come back later, you can enter
with an intact bracelet.
Weapons and items considered dangerous (knives etc.) and any other possible weapon-like items are strickly FORBIDDEN. Any kind of
grills are also forbidden.
Alcohol beverages, bottles, cans and closed containers are not allowed to exit the camping area to the festival area. You can bring your own alcohol drinks
to the camping alue in the sense of good taste. There is a check on the festival area's entrance.
We ask you not to even try to enter the camping- or the festival area anyway else but our entrancegates. While it's stupid and dangerous, you'll probably get banned
from most of the festivals around the country for a long time and your information will be gathered. Visulahti is rounded with a fence and it is monitored 24/7
Take care of your property and don't leave anything expensive to your tent or to your car, for we do NOT make up for damaged or stolen items.
